PODSUMOWANIE
Zapobieganie rogowaceniu naskórka jest ważne, ponieważ
stan ten może poprzedzać raka kolczystokomórkowego skóry
SCC lub być jego wczesną formą. Szerzenie wiedzy na temat
profilaktyki jest warunkiem koniecznym do ograniczania roz-
woju ognisk chorobowych.
Wiedza kosmetologów w tej dziedzinie może wpłynąć na
szybką diagnozę i sprawne leczenie dermatologiczne. Kosme-
tolodzy mogą także w znacznym stopniu przyczynić się do
zwiększania świadomości swoich klientów na temat istoty ro-
gowacenia słonecznego oraz bezpiecznego opalania.
