STRESZCZENIE
Cellulit to schorzenie tkanki tłuszczowej, dotykające w większym stopniu kobiety. Skóra w miejscach objętych cellulitem jest pozbawiona elastyczności i pobruzdowana. Obserwowane są także obszary o niejednolitym jej uciepleniu, wynikające z zaburzeń transportu tlenu oraz substancji odżywczych do tkanek.
Celem artykułu było szczegółowe przedstawienie rodzajów cellulitu, metod diagnostyki oraz dostępnych sposobów jego redukcji. Poznanie czynników wywołujących to schorzenie tkanki tłuszczowej, a także stopnia zaawansowania zmian, umożliwia dostosowanie skutecznej terapii antycellulitowej. W artykule przedstawiono również składniki aktywne stosowane w kosmetykach redukujących cellulit i ich wielokierunkowe działanie.

Modern methods of cellulite diagnosis and treatment
ABSTRACT
Cellulite is an adipose tissue disorder that primarily affects women. The skin in the areas of cellulite is lacking in elasticity and is blemished. There are also areas of patchy warmth, resulting from impaired transport of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues.
The article aimed to present in detail the types of cellulite, the methods of diagnosis, and the options available for its reduction. Understanding the factors that cause this adipose tissue disorder, as well as the degree of progression of the lesions, enables an effective anti-cellulite therapy to be selected. In the article, the active ingredients used in cellulite-reducing cosmetics and their multidirectional effects were also described.
