STRESZCZENIE
Lasery oraz urządzenia IPL (intense pulsed light) oparte na technologii intensywnego pulsacyjnego światła od wielu lat stosowane są w gabinetach kosmetologicznych i dermatologicznych.
Celem pracy było przedstawienie podstawowych zagadnień dotyczących wykorzystania światła o różnej mocy i długości fal w celach estetycznych oraz terapii wybranych jednostek chorobowych. Omówione zostały również rodzaje laserów oraz
zasady bezpieczeństwa pracy.
Laseroterapia jest obecnie jedną z najskuteczniejszych i bezpieczniejszych metod stosowanych w niwelowaniu problemów skórnych.

Application of laser therapy and intense pulsed light in selected dermatological and cosmetic problems
ABSTRACT
Lasers and IPL devices based on intense pulse light technology have been used in cosmetology and dermatology offices for many years.
The aim of the work was to present the basic issues regarding the use of light with varying power and wavelengths for aesthetic purposes and treatment of selected diseases. The types of lasers and the principles of work safety with the devices are also discussed.
Laser therapy is currently one of the most effective and safest methods used in eliminating skin problems.
