Streszczenie
W pracy dokonano przeglądu najczęściej stosowanych sposobów diagnostyki stóp w podologii. Na podstawie analizy źródeł zwrócono uwagę na problem, jakim jest brak obiektywnej, rzetelnej, powtarzalnej oraz dokładnej metody badania stóp i tym samym problem związany z interpretacją uzyskanych wyników. Przedstawiono również przykładową procedurę badania podologicznego: wywiad z pacjentem, ocenę ortopedyczną, pomiary antropometryczne, ocenę stanu skóry pacjenta, noszonego obuwia oraz wykonanie badania za pomocą dostępnych urządzeń (mata komputerowa).

Abstract
The paper is a review of some chosen methods of foot conditions diagnosis that are used most frequently in podiatry. Based on the analysis of sources, it was noticed that there is no objective, reliable, repeatable and accurate method of foot examination. It causes problems with interpretation of obtained results. The specific procedure of podiatric examination was represented. It includes: an interview with the patient, orthopedic evaluation, anthropometric measurements, evaluation of patients’ skin conditions, footwear and examination by using available, specific devices, such as pressure platforms.
